Premier Division
Ellesmere Rangers 1-0 Smethwick
THE NEW management pair of Jamie Haynes and Kevin Sandwith kept their 100 per cent record since taking over the reins at Beech Grove with a hard-fought win over Smethwick.
The win – their third since taking over, including defeat of top-of-the-table Malvern Town last week – lifted Rangers into the top five and just a point behind early-season pacesetters Wolverhampton Sporting Community.
The Meremen will be going for four out of four when they travel to Stone Old Alleynians in Staffordshire on Saturday with a 3pm kick-off.
Division One
Old Wulfrunians 0-0 Wem Town
The BOWENSFIELD men's winning run came to an end as they were shut out on their travels but still maintain a seven-point lead at the top of the table, albeit having played two more games than Newport Town.
On Saturday, they face Telford Juniors (3pm).
Shropshire Premier League

They're now four points behind with two games in hand, and face SHifnal United 97 on Saturday (3pm).
