Hollies Tennis Club, in Chester Road, held its championship finals on September 17.
The club members had been playing knockout rounds during the summer, leaving 13 members playing the final matches in front of a large audience of fellow club members, family and friends.
There were 11 trophies up for grabs with Hannah Jones and Chris Jackson retaining their ladies’ and men’s singles titles.
The new partnership of Claire Snaith and Jayne Haggis beat last year’s champions Jones and Jane Huxley to take the ladies’ doubles title.
Jackson teamed up with Thierry Piangnee to take the men’s doubles title from last year’s champions Mike Shrimplin and Jon Gilbert.
Shrimplin then partnered Pam Dodd to clinch the mixed doubles title.
The new monthly tournament winners, accumulating the most points during five months, were Alison Reid and Alan Scutt.
The veterans’ tournament, played alongside the main event, was won by Pam Dodd and Scutt.
The cup was presented by sponsors Alison and Jonathan Reid.
The club man and woman, as voted for by the members, went to Yvonne Shrimplin and Les Rowland.
