Young players from Whitchurch Rugby Club honed their skills with the professionals at 10-time English champions Leicester Tigers on Saturday.
The group from Shropshire took part in a Tigers Matchday Coaching Clinic and then joined a 25,849 sell-out crowd for the Aviva Premiership fixture against Northampton Saints at Welford Road.
Tigers Matchday Coaching Clinics allow teams to work with Tigers coaches to develop their individual and team skills, as well as taking tips and techniques with them to work on in the rest of the season.
They even managed to follow in the players' footsteps by having a team photo taken on the famous turf at half-time in front of the crowd.
Tom Wright, a coach at Whitchurch, accompanied the team for their photo alongside Tigers player Nick Malouf, and said: “It was really great. The players had a great time on the coaching clinic and the weather made all the difference.
“It was brilliant to watch the game and to be on the pitch at half-time. It’s great to be up close and personal because it gets them excited about rugby.”
