The 39th Marbury Merry Days will be held on the second weekend in May in Marbury village, just north of Whitchurch.

This popular traditional two-day country fair is truly a family event with all proceeds going towards the upkeep of St. Michael’s Church, which overlooks Marbury Mere.

This year’s main attraction will be Terry Large and his falconry display. Dog and Terrier racing will be held on both days, with entries on the day.

A dog show will be held on Sunday, Pinxton Puppets, bouncy castles, a floral display and organ music in the Church, model aircraft flying and more. Refreshments are available from various stalls.

Gates open at 12.30 pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for senior citizens.
