Firefighters were busy over the weekend after they were called to two serious incidents around Whitchurch.
On Saturday, two crews were sent to a road traffic collision in Kidnal, outside Malpas, at around 10.30am after a car hit a tree.
One person was trapped and Shropshire firefighters assisted their colleagues from Cheshire Fire, spending around 50 minutes at the scene.
Then on Sunday, one crew from Prees were sent to a tree fire in Brades Road at around 3.45pm.
The fire involved one tree and small patch of grass and firefighters used a hose reel jet and drag hooks to extinguish the fire, staying on site for 20 minutes.
