The Cholmondeley Annual Charity shoot is being held again this year on Sunday, April 22 in the grounds of Park Farm with the kind permission of farmer Andy Latham.

After many successful years of the shoot, several thousand pounds has been raised and distributed to local charities; however, this year's shoot is in support of the Air Ambulance and Hope House Children's Hospice who will be the recipients of all monies raised at a special charity presentation evening to be held later at the Cholmondeley Arms.

The shoot day itself starts at 10am with the last teams going out at 2pmHot food and drinks will be available on the day as will a "have a go stand" for novices to try their skills for the first time under expert supervision.

The competition itself is in teams of four at £40 per 100 clays and a £20 individual 50-clay competition together with a £5 Pool trap with all competitions having cash prizes for the winners and runners up.
