Two fire engines were called to The Red Lion Inn in Ellesmere this morning (May 7) after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
The call was received at 09:11am and the police and ambulance service were also at the scene.
Crews used eight breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets and two covering jets to control the fire.
One man is suffering from smoke inhalation.
