PUPILS at Whitchurch CE Junior School have received bright bag tags to help them stay safe and seen when travelling to and from school.
David Wilson Homes Mercia, which is working on The Mounts development close to the school, donated 90 hi-visibility tags to make pupils easier to be seen in the dark.
Carrie Marshall, school business manager at the school, said: “We really appreciated this kind donation. It is essential that our children are safe and the tags will enable our children to be seen on dark evenings. ”
John Fitzgerald, managing director of David Wilson Homes, added: “We want to urge pupils to keep safe and seen on the roads and our donation will help keep the children safe as they travel to and from school.”
