Residents in Whitchurch can head to the town's library in the Civic Centre tomorrow and Friday to find out more about community groups.
The two day session will help raise awareness of the Shropshire Community Directory and will allow clubs to present what they offer people in Whitchurch.
Hazel Price, branch manager at the library, is hoping there will be a huge turnout for the event.
"We are hosting two open days to showcase local community groups, clubs, societies and organisations," she said.
"We have had a fabulous response to the invitations that we sent to local groups. It would be wonderful if we could reach a wider audience to support the event and publicise the groups.
"We're raising awareness of the Shropshire Community Directory, where you can get all the local information you need at your fingertips."
Local groups include: Whitchurch Walkers, Time Together, Whitchurch Hear Here, Fairtrade, Beechtree Community Centre, among others.
It runs from 10am to 2pm each day, with refreshments.
