AN OPEN weekend at a new home’s development in Ellesmere offers a £10,000 incentive for home reservations.

On Saturday and Sunday, January 20 and 21, prospective buyers are invited to explore the new Cornovii Homes' development at Ellesmere Wharf and potentially claim this enticing offer.

Those who reserve a home at the open weekend, or within two weeks of it, are set to receive a handsome £10,000 cashback motivation.

Cornovii Homes, Shropshire Council’s owned housebuilding company, has a range of homes from two, three and four-bedroom houses and two-bedroom bungalows for sale, and is hoping to attract local buyers who are looking for homes within the town.

Debbie Hancox, Cornovii Homes sales and aftercare manager, said: “The mix of semi-detached and detached properties is perfect for families looking for more space, and also for people looking to downsize to a modern, energy-efficient home that is both practical and cost effective to run.

“All the homes benefit from solar PV panels, smart heating controls and are well insulated.

“Customers who attend the open weekend, and reserve a home at Ellesmere Wharf within two weeks of that, will also receive a £10,000 cashback incentive.”

Ellesmere Wharf is a development of 23 homes and is built on a brownfield site acquired by Shropshire Council, working in partnership with One Public Estate.

Dean Carroll, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for housing and assets, said: “As a Shropshire housing developer we are committed to addressing the housing shortage by building sustainable homes across the county on brownfield land, and improving the lives of the local residents.

“As well as revitalising a long-term derelict brownfield site, Ellesmere Wharf is bringing much-needed high-quality homes to the town and supporting the local economy.”

Debbie Hancox added: “Our homes are offered to local people first.

When a plot at Ellesmere Wharf is released for sale, it is offered to buyers who live, work or have family in Ellesmere for the first 14 days.

The following 14 days our homes are offered to buyers who live, work or have family in Shropshire.

At 28 days, homes are then released to the open market at a competitive price.”

The team will be on hand at Ellesmere Wharf from 11am until 4pm on both days.

No appointment is necessary.
