WEM POLICE officers have today arrested a female driver suspected of exceeding the drug drive limit.
Wem Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and response officers have stopped a vehicle in Wem this morning, Friday, January 12, where the driver failed a roadside test.
A spokesperson from the force added: “As a result a female driver has been arrested under suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit of drugs after failing the roadside test from OPU.
“Drink and Drug driving are one of the Fatal 4 that we are dedicated to preventing on our roads.”
The police are urging people who have any information around a person who may be drink or drug driving to contact their local SNT.
