FIRE crews were called out to Prees this morning, August 31, to put out bonfire which had spread to a nearby hedgerow.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) answered a call in Shrewsbury Road, Prees at 10.52am.
A spokesperson from SFRS said: “There was one bonfire which had spread to nearby hedgerow.
“Crews extinguished it using hose reel jet and knapsack.”
A stop message, confirming no further assistance was needed, was sent out to control at 11.19am.
