THE famous Red Arrows will be passing various locations in the Whitchurch area this weekend as they had to Rhyl for the annual airshow.

This August Bank Holiday the Red Arrows are set to grace the skies once again for the annual air extravaganza.

Now the team has unveiled the flight path it anticipates taking, along with the expected arrival time.

Aviation lovers will be able to catch them twice on Saturday, first as they head to the display from their previous show in Exeter, with their route taking them over Ellesmere and Farndon at about 1.47pm.

Then their first display at Rhyl on Saturday, August 26 will take them back over the region between 4.21pm and 4.23pm as they fly past Ellesmere, Farndon, and Bangor on Dee, as they take on their first Rhyl Display.

Their route will be replicated at the same times on Sunday.

They will then fly back south of Tattenhall at about 7.02pm on Sunday as they make their way back to Waddington.
