IT WAS a bustling High Street on Saturday as the Makers Market came to the town.
Residents from inside and outside of Whitchurch arrived in the town to see what was on offer in the many stalls that stretched from the Bullring up to the top of the High Street.
Shoppers were able to take home a selection of pies, cheeses and even some art work – just some of the stalls available.
Acting town clerk Zoe Dean was delighted with how the day went.
She said: “It seemed to go really well and there was a high number of shoppers who attended.
“It’s great that so many people came to Whitchurch on what was a cold day to support one of Whitchurch’s markets.
“I’m very much hoping that the markets continue to grow and with that attract more people to visit Whitchurch.”
