A YOUNG brother and sister put their entrepreneurial skills to the test last month when they raised thousands for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The event, on April 29, was held at Fauls Green Village Hall by Tiffany and Conrad Williams, with most of the preparation carried out by the youngsters.
Jennifer Williams, mum of Tiffany, 11, and Conrad, 12, was delighted with how the day went, paying tribute to her children’s “get up and go” attitude in promoting the event.
“We raised £1,230 which is a fantastic achievement,” she said.
“But we couldn’t have done anything without support from the community. The kids put an advert out and leaflets through peoples’ doors, with help from their friends.
“They were knocking on doors too, asking if people would go to their coffee morning.
“A lot of people told us that’s the only reason why they came.
“There were people of all ages there and it was great everybody was there.”
Jennifer added the family would like to thank all those who offered donations to the day and gave their support by attending.
