PATIENTS and staff at Whitchurch's Community Hospital are warned that spaces for parking will be reduced during essential resurfacing work.

The work will be carried out on the car park at the Claypit Street site on Monday, April 3 and is expected to take nine days to complete.

A Shropshire Community Health spokesman said people visiting the hospital who need to park will be guided to a space by staff working on the site.

He added: "None of the services provided at the hospital, including clinics, the Minor Injury Unit or GP practice, will be affected by the work, but please allow some additional time for your journey during this time.

"The work is due to be completed on April 11 and we apologise for any inconvenience caused while this essential resurfacing work is carried out."
