GENERAL ELECTION: Polling stations set to open

Reporter:

Staff reporter (Border Counties)

POLLING stations across the country will open at 7am today (Thursday, May 7) and close to 10pm.

If you are in the queue by 10pm, you will be able to vote.

You won’t need your polling card on the day but you must have registered to vote, which the deadline has now passed for.

The address of your polling station will be on the poll card delivered to you before the election.

If you contact your local elections office, they will also be able to let you know where your polling station is.
