Care workers have joined together in Whitchurch to take part in a Memory Walk' around the town.
Short Notice Care Services organised a three-mile memory walk around Whitchurch on Friday, September 28.
Organiser Alicia Ferrie said: "The aim of the walk was to raise money for Alzheimer’s society with a hope to find a cure for dementia.
"Representatives from Weston House, Cloverfields Care Home, AStar Training, Time Together and Edgeley House plus Whitchurch Community Hospital, walked together for the cause along with members of the community, including Whitchurch mayor Councillor Tony Neville.
"[A] massive thank you to everyone that donated and was a part of a great day, and to service users' loved ones for taking part in the walk; MacDonald Hill Valley for prizes and Bargain Booze and Highgate Garage for supplying refreshments."
