The British Ironwork Centre has closed this afternoon because of high winds.
Owner of the centre Clive Knows said: "Given the high winds we've decided to close today, prioritising safety.
"Visitors are being escorted from the site and others stopped from entering.
"Our policy here is over-reacting – preferred to under reacting.
"Anyone travelling to see us this afternoon are being asked to divert or return home."
Health and safety officer for the Ironworks, Keith Singleton said: "We take safety very seriously, so 'reduce risk' is the law here."
