RURAL residents have been urged to be on vigilant after a number of thefts.
West Mercia Police have been informed of several stone ornament thefts in rural locations around Wem.
A spokesman took to the North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhoods team Twitter page to issue advice to residents.
The spokesman said: "Please move expensive items close to your home, take photo's and consider security marking them."
