FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a large hay fire.
A crew from Oswestry Fire Station attended Maesbury Marsh after reports of a fire involving 150 tonnes of hay at 3.05am (Sunday, July 29).
Firefighters pitchforks, rakes and a hosereel jet to put out the blaze.
A spokesman from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the incident was over by 4.35am.
