Firefighters in Whitchurch have been called out to two incidents around the town today.
Firstly, one crew from the town was called to a building in Mill Street at around 7am with reports of flooding, with firefighters isolating electrics to avoid any fire.
Then at around 9.45am, one crew was sent to Terrick Road in Whitchurch to rescue two women who were trapped in a lift.
Firefighters used small gear cutting equipment to release, spending around 20 minutes at the scene.
