A RUNNER-UP in 2014's Britain's Got Talent and one of the most famous soap villains of all-time are coming to Whitchurch for its 2018 Christmas pantomime.

Opera singer Lucy Kay, who dazzled the judges ont he show before she came second to Collabro, will join Coronation Street baddie Nigel Pivaro, most famous for his role of Terry Duckworth, the scheming no-good son of Street legends Jack and Vera, to star in Aladdin.

The classic pantomime will be at the Civic Centre between December 26-30, with Kay taking on the role of Princess Jasmine and Pivaro likely to scare youngsters with his take on Aladdin's baddie Abanazar, which was the basis of Jafar in Disney's classic animation.
