A motorcyclist who died in a collision on Ellesmere Road last week was a 63-year-old man from Powys, Police have said.
Police were called to an incident on the A495 near Narrow Boat Inn, Whittington, last Friday.
The collision is believed to have occurred when a blue Citroen C5 behind a red Massey Ferguson tractor and trailer was in collision with a red Honda motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained multiple injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the Citroen C5 sustained minor cuts to his hand as a result of the collision.
Paramedics attended the incident.
The road was closed to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
