A COMMUNITY meeting for Whitchurch will take place after it was postponed to ensure health bosses could attend.
The Whitchurch Local Joint Committee on Wednesday (June 20) will now include a speaker from the Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to talk about the Future Fit consultation which was launched at the end of May and is looking at a shake-up of emergency health care for Shropshire, and Telford and Wrekin.
The LJC venue has also been changed for the new date and will now take place in Whitchurch’s Civic Centre.
Also in attendance will be representatives covering West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, plus an update on the results of Shropshire Council’s parking strategy.
There will also be time for public questions.
