A talented young author from Whitchurch has joined with a friend to publish their first book.

Chloe Gill, 12, wrote the pocket-sized book called 30 Ways to be Positive and Happy when she was 11 and asked her friend Eve Gearing, 10, to illustrate it for her.

The book has become a top seller on Amazon and is spreading positivity and happiness to both children and adults who can find small things in each day to be positive about.

Influenced by her Mum Ali, who has published a journal called My Perfect, which helps you to find a way to log something good in every day and she is very proud.

She said: "Chloe decided to collate her own mini book, using hints and tips that had helped her and she wanted to share these with others.

"Combining their skills Chloe and Eva have produced a wonderful and inspiring little book which helps young people to stay positive and happy and cope with every day stresses and anxiety.

"The 30 ideas and activities detailed in the book offer a fantastic opportunity for children to build resilience and coping strategies to help with anxiety or lack of confidence.

"The book has received a fantastic response with amazing feedback, while 25 per cent of all profits from the sale of the book is going to Young Minds charity to help ‘Pay it forward’ and make a difference to young people."

My Perfect (A J Gill) and 30 Ways to be Positive and Happy are both available from Amazon or locally at Alderford Lake priced at £3.99.
