A CAFE has brought a taste of Asia to Whitchurch for the first-ever Eastern-themed eaterie in the town.
Tasty Tuk Tuk, at 15A Watergate, serves a variety of specialist Asian meals, including Thai and Malaysian, all made under the instruction of a specially-trained Thai chef.
Owner Emily Phillips said: "We wanted to provide this wonderful Roman town with an exciting, practical eatery, ideal for quick tasty lunches and teatime treats. We noticed the growing number of cafes in the area and looked towards food options that are not currently available in Whitchurch."
Emily has combined her passion for Asian cuisine with 20 years experience in the café and restaurant industry and wants Tasty Tuk Tuk to provide authentic noodle and curry dishes from all over East Asia, having lived in Malaysia and India for many years. The eat-in or takeaway store is open every day; 01948 663298 and www.tastytuktuk.co.uk for more.
