A bomb disposal team was at Whitchurch station
A bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion at Whitchurch station last night.
It is believed emergency services were called to the station, in Station Road, around 10pm on Thursday.
The area around the station was evacuated and West Mercia Police are continuing to investigate.
The North Shropshire Cops policing team has tweeted: "Please be reassured this was an isolated incident and there are no wider community concerns #asyouwere"
