Whitchurch Little Theatre sets off on the road in June for its annual Summer Tour, calling in at Tilstock, Bickerton and Marbury, then ending in its home town.

This year the first half will be a black comedy called 'Mortal Remnants' by Edmund Goddard, then following the interval there will be four light-hearted pint-sized plays all ending with a twist.

The cast includes Alan Scutt, Lucy Chidlow, Karin Goddard, Katie Goddard, Julian Camu making his debut with the group and Jenny Matthews.

First stop is Tilstock Village Hall on Tuesday, June 12 with tickets available on 01948 880402, followed by Bickerton Village Hall on Wednesday, June 13. Phone 01829 720440 or 01829 720801 for tickets.

Then Marbury Village Hall is the venue for Thursday, June 14 with the ticket line being 01948 666221,

Finally it is the Talbot Theatre at Whitchurch Leisure Centre for Friday, June 15 with tickets available from the Leisure Centre on 01948 660660 or 07506724572.

Meanwhile, the group is celebrating its 70th anniversary in June and would like to welcome past, present and future members to its Garden Party at the Dodington Lodge Hotel, Whitchurch, on Sunday, June 24 from 2pm with a 4pm barbecue. The tickets are £10 adults and £7 children which includes a drink on arrival and food.
