Wem TOWN COUNCIL will be holding its Annual Parish Meeting on Thursday.
The meeting, which has a theme of 'Wem (Where Everyone Matters) Cares!', will be held in the Roden Suite in Edinburgh House in New Street at 7pm.
Residents are encouraged to come along and hear about projects being set up to support those in need and how you can get involved.
On the agenda, there will be a presentation on four initiatives in the areas, including from Paul Cronin, chief executive at Severn Hospice.
He will talk about Compassionate Communities in Rural Shropshire, while there will also be a presentation from Wem Macular Society, Wem Good Neighbours Project and Wem carers Group.
The minutes of the 2017 meeting will be approved and there will be an opportunity for parish matters to be raised with any councillors present.
