Police are appealing for information following burglaries in Wem.
A social club on Noble Street was raided between Tuesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 8 when a quantity of spirits were stolen from a cellar.
Anybody with information is asked to call 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111 quoting incident reference number 0726s 080318.
Then at around 4.45am on Thursday, March 8, two people were seen breaking into a newsagent’s in High Street, Wem. A door was smashed and a cigarettes cabinet was attacked (0053s 080318).
Between 10pm on Sunday, March 11 and 6am the following morning an office at a hotel premises in Lowe Hill Road, Wem, was broken into and a safe taken. The safe was later recovered but the contents had been removed (0059s 120318).
Two young males entered a disused premises in Newtown Road, Whitchurch and attempted to steal two security cameras at about 3pm on Thurday, March 8. They were identified and their parents were informed.
