Residents of Ellesmere are frustrated over the amount of pot holes on the roads in the area.

They have voiced their opinions about Birch Road as well as Trimpley Street on the community Facebook page.

Residents shared the same anger commenting that seven cars have been damaged with broken wheels and flat tyres.

Three reports were received by Shropshire Council from the public in January.

Chris Fisher, Shropshire Council’s highways manager for north west, said: “There are some small potholes on Birch Road, Ellesmere, and we have instructed our term maintenance contractor to repair them. Birch Road is regularly and routinely inspected to ensure that it is kept safe for all users.”
