Whitchurch Town Council has opened up applications for funding for 2018.

As in previous years, the town council has made money available for any organisation in Whitchurch that needs some funding to help them meet their goals.

Last year several community groups and organisations made great use of the funding, from the Rotary Club to St John’s Methodist Church.

The money has also helped the continued running of popular Whitchurch events, such as the Blackberry Fair.

Whitchurch Town Council has set out certain criteria for funding applications.

Your project should give benefit to all or some of the inhabitants of Whitchurch, and the size of grant should be in line with the benefit delivered.

You must state the amount that your organisation requires and provide costing details including projected timescales and where the remainder of the funding will be provided from, and It must be submitted using the appropriate grants application form.

The town council stress that the grants are only available for organisations, and not individuals.

Applications are open until March 1, and anyone who feels they have a project that requires funding should head to whitchurchcouncil.uk or email clerk@whitchurchcouncil.uk for more info.
