Staff from Whitchurch’s Leonard Brothers Vet Centre are celebrating after raising a significant amount of money for charity.
The pair – Claire Birch and Louise Brookes – were able to show off their donation and medals shortly before the new year after completing the Amsterdam half marathon last October.
Louise said: “Back in October, Claire and I ran the Amsterdam half marathon in aid of Breast Cancer Care, crossing the finish line in two hours, one minute and 14 seconds.
“We are very happy to announce that we raised £1020. We would like to thank all of our clients at LBVC and Physique Fitness Studio for their very kind donations and good wishes.”
