WHITCHURCH Little Theatre is back on the road for its annual summer tour with three light-hearted short plays and four venues.

The venues are Bickerton Village Hall on Monday, June 19; The Talbot Theatre on Tuesday, June 20; Marbury Village Hall on Wednesday, June 21; and Tilstock Village Hall on Thursday, June 22.

All tickets are £5 with a 7.30pm start.

The evening begins with the play Allotment by Gillian Plowman.

It tells the stories of four women on community service working on an allotment with their probation officer, ending with an unexpected twist.

The cast is Lucy Chidlow, Kate Windsor – who is making her debut with the group – Katie Wainwright, Karin Goddard and Darn Darlington.

Then there is A Talk in the Park by Alan Ayckbourn. A family affair, the cast includes Derek Harrison, with his grandson Harry Bickley also performing and his wife Jennie directing. Also appearing are Alan Scutt, Lucy Chidlow and Karin Goddard.

Finally comes another Ayckbourn comedy A Cut in the Rates, with another entertaining twist; it will be performed by Jenny Matthews, Katie Wainwright and Alan Scutt.

Tickets are available on the door at all the venues.
