A teenager has been hit by a car in Wem.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the incident at 7.55am today on Wem High Street where a 17-year-old boy had been hit by a car.
The teenager suffered a head injury and a possible loss of consciousness, as well as complaining about pain in his left arm, leg and pelvic bone.
He was immobilised at the scene and taken to Royal Shrewsbury hospital for treatment.
