FROM pop star to Shropera-star, X Factor winner Joe McEldery has announced his will perform at the Theatre Severn next month.
The million-selling recording artist and celebrity ski jumper will stun Shropshire audiences when he brings his show to Shrewsbury with the promise of something for all musical tastes.
After rising to fame through the popular ITV show, he later returned to the television screen in the channel’s Pop Star to Opera Star show, again winning with a landslide victory.
And now he comes to Shropshire with a mixture of X Factor style pop tunes, romantic ballads, and powerful operatic arias when Joe and his four-piece backing band bring their ‘Set Your Soul Alive’.
Pip Bayley from Theatre Severn said: “Joe’s fan base is so wide, he appeals to audiences of all ages. The show promises to be a real musical journey, I’m really excited about seeing what Joe can do, I am sure we are in for a few musical surprises, I can’t wait!”
