Father Christmas started his round extra early this year and found time to call in at a Whitchurch nursing home .
Residents at Cloverfields, in Chester Road, were joined by younger guests last weekend as children arrived to enjoy an afternoon of presents and fun at the home’s Christmas Fair.
Father Christmas, who made a grand entrance, dished out the goods while everyone entered into the Christmas spirit by dressing up in jumpers and hats.
There was food and drink for all, and a great time was had.
