The Christmas programme is well-and-truly underway in Whitchurch after the town’s iconic church St Alkmund’s held its crib festival.
The festival is an important part of the church’s Christmas celebrations, taking place during the day of the town’s lights switch-on event at the end of November.
There were plenty of cribs on show, giving different takes on the Nativity scene, including knitted dolls, toy figures and more traditional scenes, with owners taking great pride in their hard work.
Visitors were delighted to see the different types of cribs on show.
