There will be a number of planning items on the agenda at Malpas Parish Council on Monday.

The meeting, which starts at 7pm in the Jubilee Hall in Malpas, will have an open forum for non-council representatives to address councillors.

Parish councillors will address four planning issues on the agenda, including the change of use for marginal unproductive agricultural land to the siting of six pods for tourism at Bradley Hall Old Hall Street Agden Malpas.

Other items include a proposed garden room at 2 Hollowood Road in Malpas; the conversion of three barns to create residential dwellings at Dog Lane Farm and the building of 34 dwellings and a link road at land opposite St Joseph’s College in Tilston Road, Malpas.

Councillors will receive a report and update on parking at Bishop Heber School in Chester Road, and will agree future action, and will receive a report regarding a request for a pedestrian crossing.

Other items on the agenda include a report on site works at the allotments; parish information boards; village boundary boards and the appearance of Malpas village.
