Tilstock WI showed their flower power with a flower arranging evening last month.
The talk, called ‘Flowers for Denman’, was a fundraiser for the WI’s Denman College and the talented demonstrator for the evening was Sue Bradley.
She cleverly used her arrangements to take members through the history of the house, its situation and grounds and some of the varied courses on offer there.
Her audience were fascinated by the arrangements created and the stories and anecdotes that accompanied them.
As ever the evening included a wonderful variety of cakes with tea or coffee and raffle prizes were the arrangements themselves. A most enjoyable evening.
