Coton Hall Cricket Club have joined the Shropshire County League for 2012 and are to play Saturday League cricket for the first time since dropping out of the league ten years ago.

The club has been put in division five and the first match of the season is away against local rivals Prees who also returned to league action a few years ago after an absence of several years.

Coton Hall have pre-season nets on Tuesday April 10 and Tuesday April 17 starting at 6.00pm at the ground.

Anyone who would like to play for Coton Hall - who also play in Divison 2 of the Shrewsbury Evening League and have a number of Sunday and mid-week friendly fixtures arranged for the coming season - should contact Alan Cliff on 01939 234790 or 07791 212196.
