Footpath-Shropshire Union Canal Footbridge, Welshpool:
Temporary Closure
The Footpath that crosses the Shropshire Union Canal via the former railway bridge will be temporarily closed between 8th February 2010 and 21st June 2010.
The closure is required for public safely reasons while essential engineering works are carried out to the bridge.
Alternative route: Mill Lane via the Wharf towpath and Severn Street via Church Street.
