CONTRASTS IN COLOUR

(Wem Town Hall, Dec 22)

Sarah Hill and Sarah Evans are two local artists who share a name and also a love of vibrant colour, strong design and a wish to experiment with technique. Sarah Hill creates richly coloured artwork and jewellery using glass, some recycled. Sarah Evans produces pictures and craft items on silk, with bright colour and varied textures.

For this exhibition, Sarah Hill’s love of our local landscapes and those of our nearest coastlines, shines through her simple but stunning designs. The ‘other Sarah’ explores the contrasts of Kenyan wildlife and portraiture with locally inspired landscapes.
