Yellow weather warning issued as 50mph gusts hit Shropshire

Reporter:

Georgia Macey

The Met office has issued a yellow weather warning for Shropshire and Mid Wales up until 7am tomorrow morning.

Strong winds of 50mph – even up to 70mph – are likely to cause a stir across the county.

There will be delays on the roads and rail with outbreaks of heavy rain that will add to the difficult travel conditions.

People are urged to take extra care when traveling.
