A man has come away from a flipped car in Whitchurch uninjured.

The crash on Wednesday night happened shortly before 9.30pm with officers called to the scene where the car was found on its side.

Laura Maltby, from West Mercia Police, said: “Police were called to a report of a single vehicle collision involving an overturned Ford Fiesta on Tilstock Road, Whitchurch, around 9.25pm last night.

“The road was blocked until 11.15pm while the vehicle was recovered and a man driving the car was checked by paramedics.”

“Anyone with information can contact us with the incident number 808s of November 15 for any potential witnesses to call 101.”

A post on Shropshire Cops’s Facebook page said: “PC Deb Wheeler, of Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Team, would like to thank the members of public who assisted her while off duty.”
