Whitchurch Rugby Club are have announced their Halloween fireworks extravaganza is back with a bang.

Taking place at the rugby club on Edgeley Road, ‘Witch Church Band, Bangers and Flash’ fireworks evening will be held on Saturday, October 28.

The evening promises to be full of fireworks, fancy dress and family fun.

There will be zorbing, a spider wall and a local band all topped off with an amazing firework display by Whitchurch’s own Bangers and Flash Fireworks.

A spokesperson from the rugby club said: “We’ve been asked for many years to bring back our popular bonfire night but with so many displays around the area, we wanted to do something a bit different.

“So when it was suggested we theme it around Halloween, we jumped at the chance.

“We wanted something that was fun for all the family without breaking the bank, so tickets are a set price that hopefully more people can afford.

“This isn’t an evening just for the rugby club, it’s an evening for whole community.”

Gates open at 6pm and advance tickets are £5 per adult and £2 for under-14s.

On the night, adults are £6.50 and under-14s are £2.50.

There will be a Halloween fancy dress competition with prizes for the best adult, child and family and also a competition for the best carved pumpkin.

Tickets are available from the Rugby Club and Material Girls in the High Street.
