A breathtaking spectacular was held in the grounds of Chomondeley Castle last week.
The 2017 Berkeley Group Pony Club Championships saw more than 2,000 talented young equestrians from across the country take part in three Olympic disciplines – showjumping, dressage and events.
Many more competed in the fast-paced mounted games, endurance and polocrosse competitions across the five days.
A number of the winners have qualified for bigger competitions taking place later in the year.
The championships took place at Chomondeley Castle by the kind permission The Marquess of Cholmondeley.
Thanking all the volunteers who made the event possible, chairman Mary Tuckett, said: “Despite the rain and mud the event had a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
“There were also plenty of happy faces having a fantastic few days of competition on the national stage.”
Ms Tuckett also said discussions are now well underway to confirm a venue for the 2018 event.
