Firefighters from Whitchurch and Nantwich were called out on Sunday to help release two people trapped after a road traffic collision between a car and a tractor.
The accident, around 5.50pm, happened in Bickley Lane, Malpas, also required the major rescue unit and support engine, which came from Winsford.
Firefighters used cutting gear to release the casualties who were treated on scene by paramedics.
Meanwhile, on Saturday at around 4pm, one crew from Whitchurch was sent to assist North West Fire with a light goods vehicle in Tarporley Road.
The incident lasted around 40 minutes.
