Traders’ Day: Among the attractions available to the public in Oswestry Town Centre as part of the successful Traders’ Day on Saturday, was this ingenious creation outside Honeysuckle in Church Street, who together with local smoothie bar Shlurp who were donating part of their takings from the day to charity. They gave children the chance to create milkshakes using their own pedal power to mix them together.
This was the first annual Oswestry Traders’ Day, held to celebrate the town’s independent shops, restaurants, cafes, markets and businesses.
Having a go on the pedal powered mixer is Wendy Unwin chairman of the Traders’ Group, together with Jilly Hartshorn, Laurie Syrett-Judd and Gemma Syrett-Judd. TS310710
